Class Action Lawsuit Against Mid-State Medical Center in Meriden Succesfully Resolved

Lincoln Woodard successfully prosecuted and settled a class action lawsuit where our firm represented class of over 400 plaintiffs who were previously sued in small claims court by the Veteran's Memorial Medical Center, now known as Mid State Medical Center. The lawsuit was brought because of improper collection practices in connection with worker's compensation cases. The case has been pending since 1998 and shortly before it was to go to trial, Attorney Woodard was able to negotiate a settlement that allowed all of these plaintiffs to recover any money wrongfully obtained from them and also provided for significant relief to the entire class.
